ERSI Release PRO is a stand alone integrated software solution developed to support organizations who engage in redaction (severing of information) practices. It can also be used to selectively redact information in cases where an organization may want to withhold partial information in a document. Redaction software or severing software, is a powerful tool that enables organizations to remove information from documents. Release PRO is designed to: - apply any legislation to your severs in response to access requests. For example, in responding to a formal request made under the Personal Information and Privacy Act (PIPA) or the Health Information Act (HIA).
- to remove information from a non formal request, applying organization specific internal codes. For example, to remove the names of other contractors on a project document being circulated to all; or,
- to selectively remove information without applying any codes. For example, sending a previously filled in form with confidential information recorded on it to an external graphic designer for form modifications.
